One Woman turning 50, the world to explore

Getting to 50 years old is a significant point for most women. It is a time to re-evaluate life. It is a time to dust off old dreams and reignite them or send them out the door. One woman has looked at it as a chance to experience total freedom, luxury and simplicity.

Gayel Marquet has put together a world "joyurney" - as she puts it. As a full time massage therapist to celebrities and high profile personalities, she has experienced luxury and abundance from the other side of the table. Now she wants to experience that pampered lifestyle herself. For her 5oth birthday coming up this year, she has created a plan to have 50 massages to find the 'best of the best' therapists on her world trip. Her finding 50 includes finding 50 different ways to be, do and have a fun and fulfilling life, that inspires others to celebrate more fully their own lives.

Her itinerary is being finalised and sponsors are lining up to be a part of this exciting 50th year adventure. Launching in late March, Gayel will be using all the social networking tools to share her escapades as they happen, using youtube, twitter and blogs.

She will be putting a video up each day as she stays at 5 Star Luxury Resorts and Hotels and gives her view on what it's like to live like to indulge, celebrate and connect for her 50th year.
